It reads PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and most formats your browser can open, and exports as PNG, JPG, or WebP. JPG and WebP use the quality slider; PNG is lossless. Note that some formats like HEIC can't be decoded in the browser.
JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent areas are filled with a white background. Convert to PNG or WebP instead if you need to keep transparency.
